Santa Barbara Residence
Santa Barbara, CA
3,000 square feet (Combined house and guest house)
Completion early 2026

This project reimagines both house and landscape as a unified retreat oriented toward the sweeping views of the Santa Ynez Mountains. A newly designed accessory dwelling unit complements a comprehensive whole-house renovation, creating a cohesive family compound that balances privacy, openness, and connection to the land.
The main residence was thoughtfully transformed to enhance light, circulation, and indoor-outdoor living, while the ADU provides a flexible space for guests and extended family. Throughout the property, architecture and landscape were redesigned together—terraces, gardens, and outdoor rooms now frame the mountain backdrop and invite daily engagement with the site’s natural beauty.
The result is a renewed estate that feels both timeless and contemporary: a home and grounds carefully crafted to honor their setting while supporting modern living.
