Perched at the top of the Berkeley Hills, this project transforms the home’s entry sequence into a deliberate procession—guiding visitors through a re-envisioned internal courtyard before opening to expansive views of the San Francisco Bay.

A new outdoor deck extends the living space into the landscape, creating a seamless connection between kitchen, courtyard, and horizon.

Designed for a young couple and their dog, the house balances clarity of movement with warmth and informality—an intimate retreat that celebrates light, air, and the drama of its hillside setting.
